 | Karategi Karategi is the Japanese name for a training suit for karate. The suit is tied with a coloured belt starting at white who are learns and the way up to black which are experts. The suit is extremely light so the human can easily display punches and blockes. There are many different styles because people alter the sleeves, pants and the skirt of the uwagi (bottom of the jacket). |
Types of belts
To get promoted to the next level students need to participate in a certain amount of classes and hours.
Different schools and DO-JOs may have a different order but this is the standard order.
